Home Tours 2011

The Prescott POPS Symphony held its first annual Art/Music Home Tour on June 11, raising about $2,000 for its scholarship fund.

Five beautiful homes were included on the Tour, featuring lovely art and live performing musicians from the POPS in each home. About 50 individuals enjoyed visiting the homes, according to Dana Wingate the Tour coordinator. Local artist, Pam Dunmier, opened her home and studio, contributing 40% of any sales made during the Tour.

The event was catered gratis by Kathleen Cuvelier, whose restaurant, The Music Cafe, is due to open in August on the Court House Square.

Other homes on the Tour are owned by Jayne and Robert Allen, Paul and Norma Browning, Matt Frankel and Dana Wingate and Audrey Mae.

The second annual Home Tour is in the planning stage and will be held in June 2012. Watch for announcements next spring. Also look for a feature article on the Tour in Prescott Woman Magazine, by Elisabeth Ruffner.
